Frequently Asked Questions

BeMore Camp ?'s & More!

What is the purpose of the camp?

At BeMore Ministries, our camps are dedicated to seeing hearts healed, families restored, lives transformed through the next generation, all for Jesus. We believe young people are not just the future but the now—leading the way in building a community that glorifies God’s kingdom. Our camps provide a spiritually enriching environment where youth can encounter God’s love in a powerful way, grow in their relationship with Christ, and step into their calling as leaders and disciples.

Is the camp open to children from all denominations or faith backgrounds?

Yes, BeMore Ministries’ camps are open to children from all denominations or faith backgrounds. While our camps are Christ-centered and grounded in biblical teachings, we welcome youth from various walks of life who are open to learning about God and growing in their faith. Our goal is to provide a welcoming, non-judgmental environment where all campers can experience the love of Christ and explore their own relationship with Him.

What events does BeMore offer throughout the year?

We hosts events throughout the year that include a variety of activities such as fun outings, community service projects, Bible studies, and more. Stay on the lookout for upcoming events on our Facebook Page @BeMore Ministries & Instagram @2bemoreministries

Are all staff and volunteers background-checked and trained?

Yes, all of our staff and volunteers undergo thorough background checks to ensure the safety and well-being of every camper. Additionally, they are trained to handle various situations that may arise during camp, from first aid to providing spiritual guidance. Our staff members are also equipped with specific training to create a safe and supportive environment for children of all ages.

How can I get involved in BeMore Ministries?

We provide opportunities for young people to get involved in leadership and service roles at our events. Whether it’s helping with activities at camp, leading worship, or serving in event planning and organizing, we believe in empowering youth to become leaders and actively contribute to the ministry. What if my child has never been away from home before?

We understand that sending a child away to camp for the first time can be a big step, and we are here to support both the child and the parents through this transition. Our staff is trained to help children feel comfortable, welcome, and supported, ensuring that any homesickness is addressed in a caring and understanding way. Many of our campers find that after the first day or two, they are excited and engaged in all the activities, and we provide ongoing communication with parents to keep them informed.

How do I become a CIT (Counselor-in-Training) or leader?

If you're interested in becoming a CIT or leader with BeMore Ministries, please contact Pastor Sean for more information. We require all leaders to complete our training course, which is designed to equip them with the skills and knowledge needed to serve the next generation effectively and with confidence. View Leadership Page and complete the interest form.
